Beyond the downtown area is a variety of shopping venues. The Churchill Retail Center, a new strip mall, offers a wide variety of stores. Fulton is also home to "mega" retailers that specialize in one-stop shopping. In 2004, construction of a new retail center, which will include an eight-screen movie theater, is scheduled to begin.

Romancing the Past, a bed and breakfast in a beautiful, circa-1868 Queen Anne home, has received multiple awards from travel magazines for its decor and services. Within walking distance of many area attractions, including Westminster College and all its offerings, Romancing the Past offers three distinctly decorated guest rooms, each with black marble fireplaces, private baths and air conditioning. Delicious full breakfasts may be enjoyed by candlelight in the lovely formal dining room or on the screened porch.
