New Driver's
Licences To get a new driver's licence, you must provide a social
security card and proof of identity (if under 18 years of age, original
birth certificate needed). First, you take the written and driving
examinations at the Driver Examination station located at #13 Ballwin
Plaza [phone number (636) 256-3951]. Then, you go next door to the
MO Department of Revenue office to pay for your driverŐs license [phone
number (636) 230-5041)].

IMPORTANT TIPS TO GET YOU ON THE ROAD - MISSOURI LICENSE PLATES
1. If
there is a lien against you vehicle, first apply for a title transfer
at any of the Missouri Department of Revenue branches (listed below)
at #13 Ballwin Plaza or at Clarkson & Baxter.
2. To
get a personal property tax waiver, take your title or out-of-state
registration to a county government center. The closest St. Louis
County office is the St. Louis Government Center, West, located at

are required to have both a safety inspection (any approved auto repair
